This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for Web Application Developer who will play a major role with the technical design and development of the company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations. 

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities): 

• Utilize design, analysis, and linguistic skills to deliver necessary functionality in compliance with predetermined timelines and industry standards. 
• Conduct or participate in requirement and design evaluations. 
• Prior to conducting independent testing, create and carry out product test strategies to ensure the quality of your own work. 
• Develops fixes for discovered flaws or issues. 
• Everyday interactions with coworkers, bosses, and stakeholders. 
• Uses online applications, scripts, and programming languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs to carry out assignments. 
• Develops and validates test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface. 
• Create wireframes to decide on layout.  
• Liaise with designers to decide on UI/UX elements (like graphics and navigation buttons).  
• Collaborate with mobile developers to build mobile-responsive websites.  
• Define project objects and develop plan for design and building schedules.  
• Determine appropriate methods and tools for each project.  
• Identify system issues and suggest effective solutions for your team.  
• Create multimedia solutions for client’s needs and old site problems.  
• Work as part of an Agile squad as a hands-on developer to deliver new functionality rapidly to production.  
• Build solutions for our client coverage and deal lifecycle platform used by both internal and external users. 

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment] 

• Expertise in at least on2 programming language, preferably JavaScript, Ruby, PHP and APIs.  
• Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools.   
• Familiarity with network diagnostics tools.  
• Experience with ASP.NET (preferably MVC) and C#. 
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS 3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, JSP, ASP.NET, Python, AJAX. 
• Knowledge of SQL (SQL Server or Oracle) preferable.  
• Some familiarity with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server preferable. 
• Strong developer in Java and / or Angular, with a passion for continued learning.  
• Experience working in a professional environment utilising technology to drive value.  
• Experience developing with NgRx.  
• Design assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc. 
• Experience in application development and testing. 
• 2+ years’ SDLC implementation experience.

Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or Equivalent. 

Salary:  GBP 29000 to 40000 per annum
